than 50 years...
Calobri was founded in 1949 by Mr Brivio to supply the reconstruction
of the pertrochemical industry following the war.
Soon Calobri specialized in severe applications valves in
forged steel and gained an excellent reputation in the Italian
market.
In the late 60' Calobri started exporting to the at the
time nascent North Sea market of Netherland, Norway and
Scotland becoming one of the major suplier to the off-shore
industry.
With the expansion of the industry in the 70 Calobri started
exporting in the Middle East and Asia entering in all major
oil companies AML.
Today Calobri is a well know brand on the market with an
outstanding record of service and quality.
...a bright future ahead
At the 50th anniversary Calobri has started a new round
of development: a
young, professional team with a strong technical and commercial
background
has entered the company. Calobri has entered into an alliance
agreement with
a major valve manufacturing group specialized in forged
steel valves
enabling therefore to benefit from a stronger financial
position, access to
a worldwide supplier base and new and improved designs.
We are therefore equipped to be a major player in the valves
market for the
next 50 years as we have been up to now.
